good realization, though, unfortunately, the 'nth Celtic!
super super super armed (sword, dagger, spear, axe and a strange sword (maybe a gladius ? with a strange handle into a strange scabbard on shoulder??).
carnyx by playing a very strange shape (no Gundestrup nor Tintignac nor Deskford), perhaps a tiny coin of Caesar's time?
if so, why sculptor use small objects like coin which, given the small space - about 1 cm.- obviously the work of the artist is very limited in performance?
ps. In Tintignac were recovered fragments of some carnyx (approximately 1,75 mt.) that have been restored obtaining highly spectacular finds!!!

hello
i think the celt itself is very nice.but i agree with the weaponry.there seems to be an hurling axe called Franziska.this is by no means part of celtic culture.this does belong to the frankish alamannics in the early medieval age.
the sword carried on back is odd too.while i see no bigger problems to make an gladius style the sword was carried to the hip often with use of an chain highly decorated.
well because the celts had established an profound knowledge about forging an iron and the most capable smiths worked iron.
one could say that the bulk of celts did have an lance this often with heads up to 60 cm longs. shield and it seems that most even had possesion of an sword.the lances where used in an slashig style where one grapped the grip at the end and delivered powerfull strokes with the balde.often the heads had jagged outlines this to create an longer cutting line.in short nasty brutal weapon but wonderfully and lightly forged.
but i would never use an axe on an celt simply because the socketed axe they used was an tool not an weapon.and i do not know of an single celtic battle axe
as on most medieval knights one does sees gigantic axes with very unrealistic outlines.here one should consult the records about originals or better abaout did up stuff.
NEVERLESS all blabla left off-This celt does look fine.remove some weapons like the axe the dagger the sword fromback-maybe change for an la tene long sword.....and it will look highly attractive
cheers

I really like the celt, but i can't buy him because i can't paint all those tartans and fine lines.
So, i hope the Altare is finished for Euro. I have a figure waiting for this scene.
