Hi guys ,
I think the subject matter on PF , I mean , different era`s , countries and so on is great , but there is very little modern era 1969 - present ,British , there also seems to be very few companies that produce these figures , in a large scale , 200mm
I know where to get , in my opinion , the very best 120mm , but and this is my reason for posting this .
After sitting , sanding , filling and making sure my figure was the dogs knackersack , I then spent an hour trying to fix bayonet and sling onto weapon , not because of any reason besides the size of my hands,
Then when looking good , and the sun coming out on the south coast , I decided , hey ! , beer and outside for my basecoat , lovely , then a gust of wind come and blew the bloody thing off my table , breaking the weapon , and my heart, I know larger scales will be the same , but repairing a 200mm weapon , has got to be easier than 120
gutted

Feel for you there John...

Perhaps beer and basecoating doesn't mix ..lol

It's worse scrambling about in the floor wrestling with a carpet monster ...never finding the small piece that "pinged" off to be ate .....then 2 months later you find it !

Why not contact the Manufacturer see if you can get a replacement ?

Nap

Nap , I have decided to hunt for 200mm , I never mentioned , that scale will be easier on the old eyes:whistle:As far as replacing it , yes I probably could , but , its now in my odds and sods drawer

Big scale if full figure John but easier on the eyes ..you don't fancy busts then in this scale ?

At least your "odds and sods" have increased !..lol

Happy modelling ...whatever scale

Nap

Nap , yes busts are up my street , obviously the larger the better , but scourcing them is also like trying to find Dodo sh#t ,
At least your "odds and sods" have increased !..lol
yes m8, that's 4 120mm figures in there now , webbing and heads all over my drawer:LOL:
