Mongolian Horse Archer 1/10 Bust.....

There are already some versions of this on here ,but here's mine.Approx sixteen hours work,mainly acrylics ,but enamels used on the metalwork for effect.....
Can anyone enlighten me as to the snail -like motifs on the backplate,it appears on other pics of this era figure.
