There's no surprises that Phil's latest figure (OzMods' OZFIG007 - AIF Western Front WWI) has attracted a lot of attention in our previous posts. Everything Phil does gets accolades! Here's another of his figures: OZFIG003, Resting Digger, North Africa, WWII. (The photos were taken by Phil's grand-daughter, Auburn, who recently commenced her career in the Australian Army.)

Also, many of you will be interested to know that Phil's friends from his birthland (Eastern Australia ... also know as New Zealand) and around Australia have created a Facebook page in his honour. It is titled "Phil Walden Art Showcase", and can be viewed at http://www.facebook.com/groups/488240207854618/489211391090833/?notif_t=group_comment

Greg, thats the figure I mentioned yesterday and it looks a belter. Blew it up and enjoyed it even more. WW2, a digger needed some sand around him and Phil has it just right. Need to be getting some figures from you aroung Christmas, "well Euro is this week".
My Uncle served in North Africa and always spoke well of the diggers and my son lives in Eastern Australia so this is a must have.

Thanks mate

Don

Great looking figure. It will become very popular with the many ways it's painted and displayed. I see a german flag dangling from that long bayonet! (y)
