Dear All,
Here is a modification I did from a little reference from Andrea.
It was very fun to do and depicts a Mosby Ranger (Confederate Guerilla)
At the time I thought about a striped shirt but after some historical research, it appeared that the Mosby's worn all white shirts only....
Hope you like (and still fighting with this f***** camera :cautious:)

Hello Marc :
The face is shiny : sweat
The boots are shiny : leather (on the above only to figure worn out)
The bag is shiny to figure a kind of bag used during ACW : it was a kind of black leather protected by grease to become hydrophobic
The rest of the figure (clothes, gloves etc) are perfectly matt (keep an eye again ;))

Hello Mark,
what did you use to make the jacket?

This is done with a mix of A+B and a little bit of Duro (mixed all toghether). For the sleeves and so on, I apply the mix directly and then make the folds. But I guess your interest is for the open side of the jacket : this the same material but that I spread on the table separately to have a kind of sheet. I cut it to dimension (only the open side, nevermind for the other side because you will spread it on the figure) Let it dry next a warm bulb. When dry you can sand it (is it ok for you ?? not sure what I wrote is clear ... :hungover: )

Thank you, Thierry......yes that explains it very well, I use a similar mix myself. It's a nice job, well done.
