Hi Jesus

Great figure, but I have a question, how is the matchlock being help up as neither hand is touching it and there does not appear to be any Strap or Baldrick holding the butt, I have held an original matchlock of this type and they are heavy. other than that its a cracking piece of sculpting and painting

Great

Dave

WOW! This is a great piece! Fantastic sculpting by Zapatero and gorgeous painting Jesus! Thanks for sharing and pictures of the raw sculpt. (y)

Indeed Dave, the musket is not subject in any place except that rests in the fork, this would not be enough to hold it due to the weight of the weapon, but the figure was modeled following the illustration that made Dionisio Álvarez Cueto exactly and this figure is part of a homage that was made in the IMC of Toledo (Spain) by the Spanish miniaturists in memory of the sadly deceased illustrator Dionisio and in which the figures should be similar to the ilustación.
