I just finished this bust from scientificmodels named Motherhood. I immediately fell in love with this sculpture as soon as I saw it, it represents a "tribute" to all the women who give life....

Loving this bust as well. Just got it at WME myself.
Great work. Loving the pattern of the blanket and you even painted the baby’s hair. Very nice!

Hi Bran

Great to see you posting your benchtime

A fine piece of painting and as you say a tribute to those that give life

Like the colours you've used , they work well , is the pattern traditional ?

Both flesh are lovely but you've nailed the baby , particularly the shaved head

WHY NOT ENTER a piece into the class of your choice in JUNE/JULY FOTM here: :)(y)

Thanks Adrian. The baby's hair has been sanded then painted in optical illusion, it reminds me of a little Buddhist and I really like this idea.... Good painting on your copy and I wish you a lot of pleasure, can't wait to see your job here...

Thank you very much Kevin. No, the pattern is not traditional, I was inspired by a photo of another painter's work, I really liked the colors used as soon as I saw the photo and thought it was perfect for this topic.

I'm going to post my photos for June July, there are still a few days left, as well enjoy ....
