Hello Guys,
I have a chest and a pelvis for sculpting a 54 mm figure.
Maybe i find it fun, maybe not to sculp a figure. If i find it fun i would have some more chest's and pelvis's for further project's.
Hand, Feet, Face's can be bought, not the chest's and pelvis.

How do you guys handle this.

Marc

Hi Marc

I have made and RTV mould of 54mm and 75mm chest, lower torso and legs. I then pour some G26 Biresin in to produce the quantity I want. A small block mould will be fine for this, just need to make sure there are some airway fillets cut to the top of the mould for the air to escape, no real need to degass anything like this as the odd air bubble will be covered over anyway with putty.

The rubber can be obtained quite easily via the internet, I also found a company on eBay which also sell casting resins. I normally use Alec Tiranti in the UK.

Cheers
Tommi

Hello Marc,
If you like I would willingly supply you with some castings like those you describe. I'd send a couple at a time free of charge but wouldn't like to provide larger quantities all at once, nor would I like to make it a commercial venture. Send me a note off line if this offer would be of any help.
