Hi there,
sorry that I've not posted anything for some time, I have been busy at my workbench since my last appearance here but my projects don't always include figures.
My latest one does though, so here it is.
As usual, it's 1/16th scale, the BMW outfit is from Freedom models with upgrade parts from Sol Resin Factory.
The standing figure is also from Sol, the seated figure from AFV Modeller.
There's lots of other bits and pieces from various suppliers too.
The snow is made from a combination of products, Precision Ice and Snow (I think they might have ceased trading now) and the MIG Ammo winterizer kit.
Mud and weathering was created with VMS products.
The standing figure was base coated with Tamiya paints and then Abteilung 502 oils.
The seated figure is my first attempt at a cammo scheme, it too was base coated with Tamiya paints but then the rest was carried out with AK Interactive Real Colour Markers and they proved to be excellent.
As they are marker pens you don't have to worry about flooding an area with paint if you have overloaded your brush, controlled dots and patches of colour were easy to put on, they're fast drying, so you can quickly move to the next colour without fear of it merging with anything previous.
Coverage of the paint is good but I did have to go over some spots to make them a bit more opaque.
Give me feedback if you like, I'm always open to helpful advice.
