This figure has taken longer than I would like; horse, getting there; figure is on its second attempt. Caught between Oils and acrylics; real struggle.

Hi Guys is displayed normally when you open images in a new tab.

Pilgrim, the horse looks very nice, I wonder how the struggle with the character turns out. Good luck and let you manage everything :)

Cheers Borek

Done this one and thought it was one of the easier MM mounted as no Sabretache and sword slings to deal with.
You seem to have managed the hardest parts IE Horse and leopard skin which are looking good .
Is it the green coat that's giving you the problem .

why have the photos gone upside down? were fine in preview!

Turned pics for you ...members can also click on image for a bigger view

Like the way you have done the leopard skin ...be interested what mixes and how you aporoached painting it

Murat was certainly very flamboyant !

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Stay safe

Thanks guys for all of the encouragement; the leopardskin was done using oils, gold ochre and burnt sienna/ burnt umber. The white area stippled in while wet. Trousers next on figure; red, shall try using acrylics. Braid first or red cloth?
