God Willing I will complete my 25years of service in the Malta Police Corps this coming July 6th
My last working day, again God Willing, will be April 6th, before starting a 3month termination leave till July 6th
Anyway, I've decided to donate a figure each to my shift colleagues, which is comprised of three other males and a female colleague plus another figure to the WPC who manages our office. The deadline is obviously the 6th of April for all 5 figures so it MUST be a marathon
It will serve a dual purpose.....first & foremost the donation which I COMMITTED myself to do, to give something to a group of people who were an integral part of my life for the last years, something, which as we all know cannot be bought off any ordinary shop shelve
Secondly, I will sharpen my painting skills which have gone as blunt as a rusty beam
So from my grey army I managed to pull these three gems for the boys
Roman Centurian 90mm Young Miniatures
Greek Hoplite 54mm Pegasus
Viking 54mm Pegasus
The Greek will be featured as a Spartan while the Viking will be featured as a Saxon, to reach my mates' wishes
Roman Centurian
Spartan
Saxon
The Draconia Shazirahs
Bases are quasi rounded cork bark which was a sort of a branching flower pot during my married days
Terrains are again a piece of cork, covered with pva glue & sieved multicoloured pencil sharpening specs courtesy of nephew Jeremy
Boys' figures' faces are ready
And as Ladies come first Shazirahs are ready first
