This is my first experience with tartan. I hope you like it.

That's a great first effort at tartan, infact it's a fine second, third or otherwise effort at tartan.
Nice work Alessandro.Well done.
 
Beautiful work & very eyecatching. The tartan is outstanding by itself but I'm really impressed by the brushwork on his hose.

Wow, I don't think you can use the word 'effort' to describe your tartan. It's really good. I like the rest of the figure too, very characterful. What manufacturer and scale is it please?

Very very nice .
Here is a little thought ,not all scots have red hair ,in fact on the west coast some are quite dark as a throw back to the Spanish Armada being ship wrecked on the north west coast.
One scots beauty I encountered by the name of Marie had raven black hair and and complexion to match:)
