That's a tough one!

Rock, paper scissors with my 11 year old.....

That's a very good job for being your first figure. The black looks really good, much better than my first attempt at painting black.

very good effort altogether, particularly for a first.
Black is ALWAYS difficult and this is convincing.
A roman or a samuria....you do believe in stretching yourself....I'd go roman and would go for one of Larruchia's republican figures, this should offer a few new challenges, give a bit of scope for shield pattern and introduce you to the dreaded RED.
