I think you have done a good job.
But the picture doesn't show that because you have use the flash.
If it is possible take some new pictures without the flashlight.

Good first Figure Nikos. Are you painting in oils or acrylics?
One little tip, try not to use pure white for the eyes. Most of the time a lightned skin tone will do for 54mm. As the scal goes up you can use a light warm gray.

Cheer,

I also think this effort of yours is commendable.

I will give the term "scratch built" a go. Usually scratch built means you did
not start with kit parts, that the piece was made from materials other than
kit parts. Such as sculpting your own figure, using Magic Sculpt, or Apoxy
Sculpt, etc.

When you take kit parts and alter then, so. . . , let's say, that
the arm is sawed at the elbow and the arm is repositioned to a new angle, and
then you use putty to fill in the cut in the arm.

Or you saw the kit leg at the knee and reposition the leg, then fill in the cut with putty.

That is usually call making a figure "conversion" starting with a kit and
changing the kit parts to a different configuration, different from the way
the original kit parts were. I hope this helps.

Hi Nikos. For a first effort that is fine. The big thing is that you have things where they are supposed to be--shadow and highlight, etc. I would say grab another figure and get after it. They will improve as you go. Thank you for sharing.--
