Here my first tests with of Green stuff, I started from drawings which friends with make. The figurine to 95% is finished, I badly do not have a problem with the camera, with the result that there is much brightness.

It is a 30 mm height figurine fantasy.

Here the image of which I was useful myself for this sculpture.

There are still many things to modify and add :)

I already had comments on this figurine on my forum, but I would like to have your opinion, to improve this figurine.

Thank's a lot

Being a former mini-fig painter, I can tell you that I would love to paint it. You have done a brilliant job with the green stuf. I will leave the critical critiqueing to the experts here on the forom who are experienced sculpters.

Looking good,so far (y) (y) Are you going to put him/it on a scenic base ? Looking forward to further updates Cheers
Kenneth.

That is looking fantastic! How do you like working with the green stuff?

I recently saw a blue and white ribbon type putty in the hobby store from Games Workshop. Has anyone tried or heard of this? Is it same as the Green Stuff, just a different color or is it completely different?

Hi Aeronautds

Very Very nice! Especially the face - I know how hard it is to sculpt at 28/30mm scale. The drawing is good too, reminds me of the Dark Age drawings; and always good to have a good 'reference' to follow.

I keep dabling at 28mm - Like to paint GW stuff and just got my hands on some confrontation/Dark Age and Warmachine minis, and am attempting a sculpt right now.

Can't see much wrong with it - seems true to the drawing and has certainly captured the feel of the drawing. If I were to say one thing, the thighs seem to narrow towards the top, relative to the knees, but as classical anatomy goes out the window here.......... ;)

Very nice. Very inspiring

Rob

Hello Aeronautds,

Nice sculpting, especially it's a 30mm and the proportion is spot on. I bet people would think it's 54mm if you don't mention it's scale.
