Dear Friends
First of all, I am sorry for my "hiding", having a little baby girl, a family life and sculpting figures truly takes up much of my time!
Anyway, I am now busy preparing for the MFCA show (one of my favourite shows)
and this is what I will have in my display:
Cortes in trouble- battle for Tenochtitlian 1521, a 54mm scratch diorama showing a mounted Cortes fighting off several aztec warriors surrounding him. Plenty of drama and action here.. !
90mm Rus viking warrior ( conversion of Young b Songs great figure)
90mm Conquistador (converison of the old Andrea classic)
54mm English officer of foot 1685 (conversion, scratch)
54mm Swedish grenadier, Pomerian life regiment
54mm Swedish officer, Pomerian life regiment
(Had to have some Karoliner figures in my display!)
I will try make time to post some photos of the pieces before I am of the big apple and Valley Forge!
Hope to meet many of you guys there!!!
Happy painting
Mike

Mike,
I wish you and the family well and I'm really happy to hear that you'll be attending MFCA this year. Indeed, it is one of my favorite shows as well. And you, well, there's no saying where you stand in the eyes of the sculpting/modeling community... We love ya, and its really a treat to chat with you and enjoy your work in person at these shows. I won't be attending this year, but I'll be there in spirit, there's going to be a half dozen or more of my club members there who I'm sure will take the time to raise their glass for me and say, John, your missing out on a heck of a good time, now finish a model will ya!!!

Take care, have a safe flight and while your here, get out and see some sights.

Peace,

John

Mike, We are always happy at your presence at our show. Glad you can make the trip over. I always look forward to seeing your work. Hope to get a chance to say Hellloooo. Joe
