Hello everybody,

It's bin a while that I have posted something, but now I'm back to let You all see what I have bin doying. I have painted recently this little bust from Pegaso Models, but before starting with the paint I dressed her up a little bit, so that she is more descend now than the original release from Pegaso. All my paintings are done in oils.

Please let me know what You all think,

Have a nice weekend,

Eddy.

Hi, Marc, Thanks for your support, I appreciate it,

Hello, Lennart, thanks and yeah, those lips do look sexy, no?

Hey Christos, thank You for the kind words,

Hi Dan, allways nice to hear if your on the right track, I allways try to use a few diffrent colors for my skintones, thanks for your support, my friend,

Hey, Xenofon, thank you very much for de kind words, and yeah I paint for 12 years now in oils, and I have tright to use acrylics, but I'm affraid I will need another 12 years if I will get some results (than I'm 60), so I keep on going, all dough in my heart I know that acrylics are the way to succes,

Hello Jay, thanks for the nice words, and indeed, my impression was that it was a little bit to much (to much cartoony ****s), so when I purchased her I had already the idea to cover her up in the back of my head,

Hi Francis, thank You very much for the kind words, I realy appreciate it.

Have a nice sunday to all of You,

Eddy.

You have to tell me your mixes. Not just the skintones but also that amazing flower in her hair !!
Absolutely stunning !!

Hi Virgilius, thank You very much for the kind words, it's much appreciate it!

For woman flesh tones I use Alizarine Crimson + Burnt Sienna (50/50), highlight 3 to 4 times with Naples Yellow adding each time some more white, shadow with the basic and a little, but only a little tip of brown madder for the darkest spots. All done wet on wet.

The flower was done also with Alizarine crimson, highlighted with Naples Yellow and with at the top, shadow with a little black added to the Alizarine Crimson. That's it.

I'm working also on a new blog, where I recently have put some pictures (and there be more to come) of my work, so feel free do have a look a round,

Have a nice day,

Eddy.

Hi Eddy,

what a change! I like the face and the flowers a lot! You always have to be careful to change a figure, even more with a bust, but this turned out superb!
It seems Belgian painters are the champions of this bust :)

Cheers
Denes

Very true, Denes. It's hard to get a place amongst painters like eddy, marijn Van Gils, Gino Poppe and so many others.
Merci voor je antwoord Eddy. Misschien zie ik je in Folkestone?

Thanks Hardy, much appreciate it!

Hi Denes, thank You for kind words, your much to nice!

Virgilius my friend, You give me to much credit, thank You very much!

En geen probleem voor het antwoord, als ik kan helpen...
Kan spijtig genoeg niet in Folkstone geraken, dit jaar, maar ga mijn best doen voor volgend jaar.

Take care You all,

Eddy.
