Hi folks,

There shouldn't be any proper figure collection without a figure of L'Empereur(y) And maybe the Napoleon in 54 mm from Le Cimier is THE classic.

All painted in acrylics. I hope I have done justice to the Emperor!

Fermatgom, Awesome work! You really nailed it! Love the overcoat!!! I never tire of seeing this figure painted. Enjoy viewing your work!

Le Cimier's Kit is, in my opinion, by far the best 54mm representation of Napoleon ever!(y)

You're absolutely right. I've been impressed by the quality of the casting and the well sculpted details, not to mention the resemblance to the character.
Cheers,

Fernando

Thank you Huw.
Thank you John. The base is Vallejo Dark seagrey, shadows with black and lights with pale bluegray. I try to keep things simple :)
Nice !

I've been building and painting Napoleonics for over 40 years and not got the Emperor in my cabinet !
I shall now call myself a bad lad.......
(got ONE on the way though).

Paul.
Paul what??? you should go inmediately to the figure painters jail!!!!!;)

Beautiful piece!

Yes sir, you done him justice alright. I like the background for the pictures too, sort of like the clouds of war. (y)

Got him in my cabinet as well. Done him in oils. Geez, that was a long time ago !

You're improving Fermatgom in every miniature. I think is your best by far, at least posted in PF. Congratulations.

About to have a Napoleon painted... as Peedee, i don't. I have never been temptated to buy a Napoleon till today. Now i'm reading some books about Waterloo recomended here in PF, and i'm thinking to purchase one Von Bulow, Blucher, the Grouchy of Pegaso and one Ney

I could not agree more. After viewing your version, I feel the need to go back and repaint my version.
