Thanks Jesus for your reply and information. If I understand it correctly, the figure was produced some years ago for the museum by the Italian figure brand Elisena. A brief web search reveals no trace of the figure and Elisena may have gone out of business.
Have looked at the museum website and can't find a link to a museum shop, so I might just try sending a message there on the off-chance that they may still have one or two left. The museum looks fabulous, the photos give a glimpse of their collections, which seems to include lots of armour (European and Samurai), plus other things of interest to the military modeller. Looks to be well worth a visit if you're in the great city of Florence.
Interestingly the founder of the museum was of British ancestry. The father of the founder, Frederick Stibbert, was a colonel of the Coldstream Guards who fought in the Peninsula and afterwards settled in Italy.
