I am going to do Maurizio Light Cavalryman of the 12th Regiment. I have a question on the boots . They have a molded line down both sides from the top to the bottom. I wondered what this is and what color do I paint it ? The painted figure does not give you a view but you can see it clearly in Maurizio’s sculpting.

Thanks
John

Maurizio,
I just wanted to be sure I knew what I was doing.
It is a Beautiful Sculpt and I hope I can do justice to it.
Cheers
John

Hi John,
You can also paint a thin gold line along the seam, the "chef d'escadron" sculpted by MAB is dressed very elegant. Remember the red of the breeches must be crimson, the facing colour of the 12th was crimson red, not scarlet as seems on the box. And the green of the jacket is deeper too.
Best wishes
M
