Native American bust

Here is my latest bust. The inspiration for the pose came from a bronze statue by western artist Dave McGary. The body is an old Harton bust. The head is from a Young Miniatures bust. I resculpted the lower arms and added 3D printed hands. The headdress is from the spares box and I made the trailer and shield from modeling putty. The feathers are all 3D printed. Hope you like it.

Always good to see your pieces , this being no exception a fine piece of modelling

Love the work on the headwear, the feathers look so realistic being 3D as well

Nice artwork as well , the shield looks really good ...is the design based on anything original

Gosh but that looks good. I don't think the photos do it enough justice, though. The head dress is magnificent.
