My latest work, still getting the hang of this photographic lark. I think I have improved on the face this time round. I have enjoyed this one but the green was a challenge.
Thanks for looking.

Nice lookin' figure - I remember doing a slight conversion of the Poste Militaire figure with the same undress hat (Which made a change from the usual fur headgear) What are the sword slings made from?

I agree with Pedro, smart, crisp and the simple pose shows it at its best. A stand alone figure or part of a vignette, Bob?

Alan

Hi Alan ,
this will be a stand alone figure. These MM figs are great. Thanks for the comment.

The slings are made from lead sheet and before the figure was primed, I offered up the slings to gauge the length required. The lead sheet is supplied with the kit.

Thanks for all the kind words, given me a boost to get the next one going, Perhaps 2 together.

I think that is a really effective job. As noted above, the green is difficult but yours is very nice. The face looks great too. Looking forward to the next two.

There is elegance in even an 'undress' Napoleonic figure,
which you've brought out beautifully with the coice of rank.
Great choice, nice finish.
I wish I'd thought of this !
Paul !
