Need help with colonial english uniform

Hello everyone,

I would like to improve the sculpture of the bust "the bugler" a little by redoing the sleeves and the shirt, the folds do not please me too much. I would also like to redo the helmet whose headband is not very precise nor the "belt" on the front. In order to find documentation, could you tell me from what era is this colonial uniform please? I am looking for photos that will allow me to see what needs improvement and what colors I should use for painting. I thank you in advance for your help.

Google search for 'It ain't half hot Mum' will provide you with dozens more photos. The commonest uniform colour in the jungle was jungle green, as worn by the Bombadier on the extreme right and the seated Lt Col..
