Need help with uniform

OK boys and girls, I need some help from some of you experts out there. I am starting a bust of Hans-Ulrich Rudel and I need some help with the uniform colors. I will post the very picture that the bust is sculpted from. I notice that the flight cap does not look to be all leather in this picture. The reinforcing band around it looks to be leather, and the rest looks to be cloth. I also need to know about the jacket and shirt he is weraing. In the picture the jacket appears to be a lighter cloth material, with a darker colar. Any help as to what colors? Is he also wearing a "mouse/field" gray shirt? The box art shows his helmet in what looks to be all black leather, and the jacket to also be all black leather. That does not look to be the case in this photo however. I also need to know about colors for goggle straps, leather retaining strap at rear of cap, shoulder boards etc. Any help on specific coloring for this piece would be MOST appreciated!!!! The helmet is the "summer" model which has the top part made of an open weave material. This helmet differs in some details from the regular all leather version. Both the leather and summer helmets were very dark brown in color. The coat may or may not be an issue version. Again these frequently differ in minor details. However, issue coats were usually in a Luftwaffe blue-gray color. From the looks of the pic I would say that this is a well worn jacket that has faded from heavy use.

Many thanks! I'll make the coat a faded blue-gray color, and I like the idea of dark brown for the cap instead of black. Thanks again! BTW, I have your Jaguar Obersturmfuhrer bust on deck as well. Its a beauty!

I want to second the accolades. I am about to start on Mike's Japanese naval pilot (Ultracast). The detail is very fine and well done. I reworked one hand, added a small 'good luck' flag, holster and fur collar. Hopefully, this will compliment an already great figure.
