Completed Nelson

This is my latest piece - David Grieves' sculpt of Vice Admiral Horatio, Lord Nelson. It is a 1/12 scale bust distributed by Hawk Miniatures. It's painted in oils over acrylics. It's my second attempt at gold lace without metalic paints.

Gold lace looks excellent, I have only tried this once about a hundred years ago it
worked quite well but on a 75mm hussar " John Douglas"

Dave, The lace work looks real good. I also like the how you've done the face with the 5 o'clock shadow and also the red sash with the satin look.

Overall an excellent job IMHO.
