Saw this today over at Historicus Forma. It's titled "Olonnaise". Exactly what that is I don't know but when I saved the pic, it was titled a Corsair. Regardless, it's 75mm and sculpted by Maurizio Bruno. It's a BEAUTIFUL looking figure and I'm looking forward to getting this one ;)

Enjoy,
Jim Patrick

75mm

I might also add that 75mm is a beatiuful scale for sculptors to work in. I do miss the old 'Post Militaire' days when they 'cut new' ground!-much like Pegaso these days.
Each piece they released was sure to become a classic amongst figure painters. Keith Durham was a sculptor of the old school, and his talent can't be denied! Sadly. his figures don't get the respect that they deserve now-
Nostalgia, eh!!!!

That looks nice, my favourite scale and another one to add to the collection:D

Sorry Guys

But youll just have to wait untill I have my one of these............cause I´m first in the queue.......lol

I have to admit a slight leaning towards the 17th century at the moment and Pegaso have delivered one of the most beautifully understated figures I have ever seen since their 90mm Knight with the cloak. this is superb and is so wonderfully sculpted, paint it as you like or do some small additions....... its just a cracker

Hi Jim,
been away from the forum for little too long, thought i'd look you up and find out if you finished that Hussar!!!

I was told of this new figure at my club the other day, comes out at Euro millitare this year??
I ground to a halt with my last project (coldstream guardsman 1854).
And just started a Pegaso myself ,75mm Praetorian Centurion, cracking little figure,I'll post some pictures at some point....
