Agree with Ron, the figures come up larger than your standard 54mm and the detail is so sharp that you cant go wrong with the painting. Best metal cast figures on the market in terms of quality of casting.

I agree with Tom W. Buy both!

They are quite different figures; Andrea has the horse's head in a more upright position, the Lieutenant has his right hand moulded directly to his hip and he has the red leather cover to his ceinture.

If you don't believe that nonsense then you can just do what I do. Which is to buy everything you fancy, glue all the bits together, smear a bit of filler in the gaps, spray with grey primer and then spend the next few years looking at your grey army thinking "I must get round to painting these soldiers...."

And you can indulge yourself in the fantasy that you would paint one of them as the Artillery officer and then the other one as a Chasseur officer in undress uniform.

"They are quite different figurese "

It's not a question of buying Andreas versus Metal Models, it's a question of size. Marc wants a 75 mm versus a 54 mm, therefore buying both is not an option.

Nice releases. The napoleonic MM catalogue is the best, it´s a shame that only covers the French troops.

Military miniatures painted by Eduardo Garcia
Quite agree with you on the fact that foreign troops are absent from the catalog ... Apart from a few:

But this being some other brands are specialist of their country for a given era (TW, Alpine...);)
