New at ADV / AZIMUT : BIGEARD BOYS 1/35°

I'm not interested in the period of the empire (1st or second) but also the War of Indochina, Algeria and many other topics ...
I also like promoting french craftsmen.
AZIMUT, in fact Didier CHAUMETTE, is a craftsman of the resin model for more than thirty years.
He did a lot of things, and produced some very nice French army figurines
The latest are a group of 3 French paratroopers from the 1950/1960 period, Indochina war or Algeria war ....
The group is called Bigeard Boys, in reference to the famous Paratrooper that was General Bigeard and the cap that carried the paratroopers or the troops of shock in this period.
I can only advise these 3 figures to all those who appreciate this period and the French army.
1/35 ° resin, unknown sculptor, only available at:

Finally just for the record, and out of pure vanity and French pride, it is our paratrooper who have performed the largest number of airborne operations of all armies in the world, the last one dating from June 1, 2017 in Mali ...

Great-looking figures, and good to see some attention being paid to the post '45 French colonial wars, which is a subject that hasn't been served well by kit manufacturers over the years (though thankfully there are now signs that this is slowly starting to change).

Interesting and welcome subject! Hope his customer service got better.

The weak point of ADV / AZIMUT is the lack of communication and a website not always up to date.
Didier is a long time friend, I never have a problem with him, but my judgment is not impartial.
Many consumers have complained about this manufacturer. Slow processing of orders, lack of communication, sometimes incomplete kit, etc ... It must be done with and arm yourself with courage. It's a shame because ADV / AZIMUT has a great range that I will try to make you discover.
If you like armored vehicles, and figurines of the French army, you will be filled.
And sincerely the quality is at the rendezvous!
