This fanciful painting shows Bonaparte crossing the Arcole bridge. Actually the incident occurred about 55 paces short of the span.

nice.......remember the name of the village is ARCOLE ,this is the original monuments build near to the bridge.the only things not original is the bronze eagle over the monuments.
