New Bust in progress

[Figure Mad]

Hi Guys

Just a little sniffter of the new El Greco Bust that I am sculpting at the moment, still a couple of things to add, lobster tail, hair, ear protection. sash, belt buckle and the helmet bar and of course the facial hair, but they are underway. The face was sculpted by Roy and the rest by me........

Hi Jon

Good to meet you as well mate, The buff coat texture is a short process, but you have to concentrate. Basically i created each sleeve and cap at the same time, one side at a time, that means size, folds, smoothing and shaping, then with a wet brush, brushed the surface with water, let it go really soft on the surface, then with a stippling brush, went over the whole lot, then under a light to dry...... it was the timing that was the hard thing.

Carl, thanks very much and to the rest of you guys, thanks again it was a challenge with a pressure that hadn’t experienced before making it to a deadline and for a company to produce, so I am hoping people will like what they see, El Greco Miniatures will have this one on sale very soon .....
