Hi guys

I've recently purchased a digital camera and have spent the past couple of days trying to work out how to use it.

I've attached some pics of my latest WIP, plus a few of my old favourites.

As you can see, I have a thing for ANZAC's:eek:
I hope you like them.

Figure 2: 120mm Australian Infantry, Lone Pine Gallipoli, 1915
Figure 3: 120mm Australian Infantry Lewis Gunner, Western Front, 1917
Figure 4: 140mm Australian 2nd AIF, Kokoda Track, New Guinea 1943
Figure 5: 200mm Australian Infantry, South Vietnam, 1970
Figures 6-8: 90mm French Imperial Grenadier Guard, 1807
Figure 9: 120mm Highland Clandsman, Culloden
Figure 10: 120mm Japanese Kamakaze Pilot, 1944
Figures 11-12: 200mm Napoleon bust

Excellent work Tony. The new camera makes all the difference for sure. Can't understand the interest in Anzac's tho....:D

Hi Planeteers
Guy -;) ANZAC's rule mate!!:D
FrankH - the Napoleon bust is Verlinden 200mm resin. Thanks for your comment.:)
Dan - Most of the ANZAC figures were sculpted by fellow Planeteer Phil Walden, who lives in Brisbane. Phil's an old mate of mine (even though he's a Kiwi, I make an exception for him;) !!).

I'll post a few more pics later.

good stuff brother,....
I've not seen some of those figures since Adam played halfback....I like the old French Grumbler, I've never painted one myself.....your uncle Walter came up well, I can remember you talking about him, as I was making the master,...man that was a while ago...
all great to see old son Phil...

The Kokoda figure is scheduled for a new paint job later this year. Its a pleasure to paint your figures mate. Clearly some of our fellow Planeteers are impressed with your sculpting skills.

Most of these figures are painted in oils and enamels, however I am painting mostly in acrylics now, and I want to repaint a few of my earlier favourites.

So little time, so many figures to build...

Go Wallabies.
Tony

G'day Roc

I'm experimenting with my new camera tonight. Gonna try to take pics of figures in front of my TV screen and see if I can "morph" them into a movie backdrop. If I knew how to photoshop I might get better results, but it seems like a fun way to spend a few hours watching my favourite war movies.
I'll post the results in a couple of days.
Cheers
Tony
