NEW from Tommy’s War

TW32C04 – Trooper, 17th Lancers, Amiens 1918
I’m delighted to bring you news of a great new release, the fourth in the very popular cavalry series, a Trooper of the 17th Lancers.
This figure is set at the latter part of the war, viewing the battlefield ready for action. By 1918 cavalry were commonly used as infantry on the Western Fron. The 17th Lancers had formed part of the defence of the Allied lines during the Spring Offensive, but by October had returned to their mounted role where they were able to exploit gains made as the tide of war turned to the Allies favour.
This new figure cast in light grey resin in 1/32 scale, sculpted by Nino Pizzichemi the box art is by Alex Long.
The kit is complete with photo etch bridle bits, brass tube for the lance and instructions.
Price: £40.00 (£32.00 for members of the Tommy's War Collectors Club)
We offer FREE shipping on orders over £60.00

Great work, Darren, you've captured the essence of the WW1 cavalryman there.

Any plans for an officer? Maybe looking through binoculars on recce?

What a superb piece; horse and rider just perfect. Khaki period not usually my thing but have to say am sorely tempted.

Another winner from Nino, Darren. The Death Or Glory Boys used to be my local armoured regiment when I lived in the East Midlands, & I knew a few guys from schooldays who joined the Regiment. I'm told their museum has now moved to Thoresby Hall near Ollerton, so a visit could be on the cards if I go back up that way soon.

Great piece, love to see something like this in a 120mm....

Old eyes.

I couldn't agree more, even 75mm or 90mm would help. The figures are so exquisite, but my 61 year old old eyes aren't up to 54mm any more either.

Outstanding collaboration by Darren, Nino & Alex.
They’ve managed to create an evocative piece based in part on references shared above.
Evidence for how well this landed was seen in a sellout* of first 65 kits within 24hours.
This is also a testament to the quality & nurturing of Tommy’s War brand.
If you need anymore proof of this check out excellent instruction booklet, free for download.
A host of reference shots & detail on getting bridle & reins right.
So glad Darren has manage to garner this support.
Especially reassuring in these weird times.
Fortes Fortuna Juvat!
