Details from a thread on social media

I hope my illusions are to your liking. A strong hug."

The 54mm comes with a opponent, namely a Indian ( very interesting to read the history of conflict that the "leather dragoons" were involved in )

Interesting and unusual subject. The small picture at the end looks like Ron Embleton's artwork, but I don't recognise the source publication.
Good luck to MEL Miniatures - nice to see a new manufacturer on the block!

Phil

Phil, it's from a large format book of Ron's called "Pioneers and Heroes of the Wild West"....sort of potted history for youngsters, but with his excellent illustrations. Mine's a bit tatty now, 1969 print date. That illustration shows the Mexicans arresting Lieutenant Pike ( Pike's Peak named after him).
Great illustrations throughout.

There's two for sale on Amazon from £19.99
