New Figure Painter from Darkest Essex

Hi All.

Been modelling airplanes for several years and felt a change was in order.

Always liked the large scale busts and figures Id seen so thought Id give it a go.

Working on a WW1 Aussie Light Horse figure at the mo and will post some pics when some more progress is made.

Jim, 'Darkest Essex'? Is there a place that I have missed.

However, welcome aboard.

I know of two 'Aussie L/Horse', busts one smoking a 'Gaff', and the other with a horses head on his shoulder. Is it one of these?

Ive bought a few busts, but this Aussie light horse bust is one by Phil Walden.

Looks really evocative and theres lots of photos from an Aussie re-enactment society thats helping with colours etc.

(Emu feathers look they could be fun.)
