Hi Taesung.
Nice ones,I love them!
Calvin's paintwork is the perfect complement for your beautifully sculpted figures.

Hello Taesung
What is the deal with the scarf's on the modern US Tankers? it seems to be a trend with most of your figures lately, will you be sculpting any modern Tankers without the scarf's? Yes I am sure that there are a few images of tankers both modern and WWII with scarf's but very few at that. I really think that this limits the use of these figures. As always great work. Mrosko

Hello Gents
Thanks for all the comments! :)
Calvin really did an excellent job on these figures.

Modern UK tankers??? Hmmm.....

Chris,
yes, the scarves are based on a group photo of US tank crews.
The tankers in the photo were wearing matching scarves in
1990's pattern desert camo... not in red or blue. I thought it was
common for US armoured crews to cover up their faces in Iraq... :)

My point was, that having the scarf's on the figures limits the use of them.Such as a modern tanker other than OIF,and even when they do where the scarf's they are usually tan or a military drab. That source also coming from a in country U.S. Army officer. For those who have never been in the U.S.military,there is a such thing as a dress code, and other than special opps units they pretty much stick to it. That was my point thank you. As far as Taesung's sculpting it speaks for it's self. Mrosko

Taesung-
Your figures are awesome., and accurate. I was there for 14 months, commanded 2 companies (1 TANK, 1 HHC), and we wore whatever we had to keep the sand off our faces. Usually used slings from out med kits if we didn't have any, but if someone had a bandanna and it was red, he wore it anyway. You wore what you had. Besides, once you rolled out of the gate, everything was covered in dust and sand, so the origional colors only peeked out from underneath. Don't worry about anyone who tells you form always comes before function. You are on track, and doing just fine. ;)
BTW, I'm now stationed at Fort Dix. What part of Jersey are you in?

Hi Chris
I get your point. :) Thanks for your complimets on
my sculpting, dude. BTW, when is the MaterCon this

Another great figures from Taesung!
The folds, facial expression and details are faultless, like the realism that permeates these figures, very natural.
I especially like the glove that's squeezed in between the holsterstrap. Good idea.
The figures will match well with various vehicles and situation, personally, I have decided to match them with the M1A2.
I'm curious as to what the figures are discussing!

Lookin' great Taesung, you're the king of drapery and creases :) One small area looks a little off to me, the second figure's lower leg/foot but other than that these are super as usual and nice paintjob from Calvin (y)

Isn't it interesting how different they can look when photographed?!

2 more beauties from a true talent. the poses drapery and overall accuracey are spot on, I like the scarfs as well.!

PS If you want to do any work together I'd be more than willing. It's a small world and an even smaller buisness.
