I currently live in Zaporozhia, the cossack museum is a ten minute drive for me. It is a beautiful figure and one I would be intrested in painting it for my wife who was born in the city. However, I doubt I'll be paying quite that much, as she who must be obeyed would kill me.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. You mean that the straps should be straighter to show the tension, right?

Yes. My understanding is that the crupper is another strap to securely hold the saddle in place. Tx.
