Greetings from New Zealand. Just thought I would introduce myself and say Hi to everyone. I've been figure modelling most of my life with my main interest is in New Zealand history (both military and civilian) as well as some sport figures. I also trout fish and hunt game.

I live on the West Coast of New Zealands South Island over looking a stunning river and its wide valley with my wife, little boy and assorted animals on just under an acre of land.

I sculpt figures as well as cast a few off and paint in oils. My main scales are 54mm and 120mm although I have been known to get into a 80mm figure or 2.

Some of you know John Belcher on this forum. We have been friends most of our lives and I can't think of a nicer, friendlier person. Hi work is an inspiration to all of those who know him.

Anyways, hello again and I hope I can add something to this site at times.

Ciao for now,

Lindsay

Welcome to our little world, I know you will enjoy it here and I'm looking forward to seeing some of your work.

Cheers
Roc. :)

Welcome to the madness mate! More the merrier.

Remember don't be afraid to ask anything. There's hardly going to be anything that somebody on here hasn't already cocked up! And I readily include myself on that list!

all the best

Thanks for the welcome, guys. As soon as I learn how to post some piccys I'll get a couple up.

Hi Mike. Great to hear from you. And why haven't you visited us? It just seems like yesterday I meet you at Euro M in '93.

I've just finished casting a limited edition ANZAC figure ( 21 castings) in 54mm throwing a jam tin bomb so I might put that up along with a couple of scratch builts to show you all.

Yes the world is a small place and sure is getting smaller.

A big welcome from the U.K. Lindsay...really looking forward to seeing your creations here on the planet...the ANZAC sounds great...can't wait to get a look at him.

All the best mate (y)......Roy.

Welcome to the planet, Lindsey. Good to have you on board.
What part of New Jersey is New Zealand in...? I seem to miss it on my map.

lol........ Majnun, I bought a new jersey in New Zealand a while ago. Does that count?

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Yes, Phil.. I seem to remember a bottle of rye and a very ill sign writer the next day. John tells me he sent you a photo or 2 of the South Island bush and it made you home sick. That bush is my office and home now that I live in Hokitika. NZ is still here and just as beautiful. :) :) :)

Hopefully I'll get the ANZAC figure up tonight after I come back from deer hunting in the forest.
