Hello to PF members
just like to say hello and tell you what a great site i think this is.
Ive been painting figures for about 2 years now since stumbling across
Poste militaire in folkestone when visiting friends and was blown away by the great models on display and bored my wife all the way back home in the car
about it.
My first attempts were pretty poor but feel they are getting better but very little hope of getting anywhere near as brilliant as a lot of you guys are.
Ive been doing my painting on the workstation next to the computer and have to put it all away each time so im not very prolific[to say the least]
but have built a studio [big shed] up the garden so i can do a bit more.
Am currently doing Metal Modeles Napoleon for my brother so if anyone can give any tips on a White Horse they will be greatly appreciatted.

a few of my figures/Please feel free to comment as i feel that is the only way for me to improve. Thanks

ps .they are not actually that orange its my photography.
Martin

Hello Martin and welcome to the planet. You have posted 3 of my favorite figures and you are on the right track. Excellent work.

Thanks for the comments Gentlemen.its much apprecciated.
When i get a chance i will post a couple more.

Welcome to the Planet, Martin. :)
You figs look great, so keep at it! As for the horse, find a good pic that matches how you would like it to look and use as a guide. There are tons of horse pics on the 'net.

Cheers,
Wendy

What you've posted certainly shows talent and skill. I love the color palette you used on the guy with the pipe and blanket.
For a white horse, I'd start with very light gray, such as the shade used on the undersides of Vietnam era US aircraft. Model master calls it Camoflage gray (FS36622)

Welcome to PF Martin. It's always nice to see more fans of this great hobby here.
