Nice one Ken! That blasted model 1928 and it's ribbed barrels kept many sculptors from doing this piece

Excellent portrait, Ken. The coincidence of carrying a striped suit, and Thompson in his hands, give to Churchill a gangster look. The first thing I did, seeing this bust is ask myself: How would look better in black and white or in color?

Great mistake by Goebbels: he thought this would discredit Churchill in the eyes of the British, but it made him even more popular. Painting a pin-stripe suit will be quite taxing.

Gordy, not something I would even dream of attempting, the Thompson was scratch-built by Steve Readdie (1969) a brilliant job .

Eduardo, It has been started in colour but it would be an interesting painting excercise to do it in B&W.
