Tanker

Hi Guys,
Thanks for posting , this , looks good , box art painting is of course by Mr Dave Maddox really nicely done as well (y)

I must admit I do like the little details that Carl puts on the base , the tank on this and the plane on the Aviator in the leather coat ..nice touches .

I will be doing a full review of this for Model Cellar on PF , its currently on its way to me ..looking forward to that immensley......look out for the review .

Hi there ,
The mask is chainmail to protect the crew against splatter dash from hits on the tank resulting in metal shards flying around inside ...not a healthy thing to happen in an already confined , stuffy , cordite fumed , hot oven !!!!

Here is some pictures of original items to look at.

Regards

Amazing! I don't think, however, having the chain embedded in your face by shrapnel counts as "protection."

I wonder if that's the last vestige of medieval-style armor (along with the breastplates favored by trench raiders) used in warfare …

Hi Shawn ,
I think you are right , but in tank warfare which was in its infancy , anything was better than nothing I suppose .

I have tried an original on and wore it for about 5 minutes and its horrible !!!!!

Trench Armour .....now there is another subject full of kickbacks to the knights of old !!
