Hey guys,

I had a guy from the hobby shop come over Wed. and give me a little 101 on how to use my camera. Here are some shots that I took today. What do you think? Am I getting close? They are not a clear as the ones that were not resized but the true ones are much better.

Thanks,

Joe

With your aproach and my lightbox, i can come really far.

Looking better Joe. Before I bought the Digital studio that came with photo lights I used a similar set up like you have here. One thing you might want to try to to tape a kleenix over each light to difuse the 60watt more. Too much light has washed out you colors.

Below is a photo of the set up I have now. The photo tent I bought at Wal-Mart and the sides have a white screen to difuse the light and the small lights on each side come with it too. The small table top tri-pod I replaced with a better quality one I bought at Wal-Mart too.

Also I have found that the gray (comes with this velcro back drop - reversible with blue ) gives the best photos

Hope this helps you Joe

In the photographic department of Wal-Mart. Found both the tent and the small tri-pod (better version than what comes with the studio)

I removed the photos I had posted of a figure showing the results.
