Very well done! A tough looking old Poilu! What scale is the figure? Cast in resin or metal? Could we see several more photos from different sides/views? Does JMD-MINIATURES have a web address? Just a guess JNC, but do you have difficulty with English? If yes, PF has some translators who could help.

Marvelous amount of detail sculpting on a 60mm figure! The pose is just a little on the plain side, but I can't get over how much accurate detail you've put in the uniform and equipment. The Poilu's face reminds me quite a bit of the Georges Scott illustrations.

A ton of details and a perfect size. I disagree with Dan, I think its an excellent pose which is quite dynamic for a static figure. Excellent work!

I guess what I'm saying is that I'd just like to see more figures in action poses, but that's just a personal thing. Lovely figure - I keep coming back to the face! You hit the nail on the head. You should post the G. Scott illustration you used so everybody can see how well you captured the "look".

Very nice figure !!! Interesting subject also, good detail, and it seems to me it could be the basis for some conversions into other interesting subjects - It reminds me straight away of a Danish infantryman of the 1864 Schleswig-Holstein war.
Is it available from JMD miniatures ?
