again, I love the idea of the "forced" light! I might make one additional suggestion. On the cobblestones that the figure is standing on, I would look at adding some cast shadows out from his feet (definitely from his left foot out towards the front) to anchor him to the base a bit more. The cast light seems to pass right under his feet as it looks now. The effect of the lighting on the paving is VERY nice, I just think the figure would be casting some shadows. I think this would add to the effect and also give a nice emphasis to both the lighting and the lines of the piece.
