Nice to see this finished Steve. Mr Pepper has certainly brought your great sculpting to life.
Full marks to Rick for the research,
Carl.

Like "Babe" Ruth: you hit it outa the park!!!

Hello Mr. Steve:

Well, I am so glad that you have finally gotten this lovely Alamo Vignette
announced with Reeddie Miniatures. Just a beautiful piece with quite a number
of parts. So much for the figure painter to sink their teeth into.

And Sgt. Pepper did a masterstroke re the box art. Just filled with tension,
pathos, and atmosphere. I feel sure this offering will be quite popular,
and I wish you great success with your new company, Steve.

Best regards,

Rick Brownlee

Congrats on one of the best ideas to ever come about! Man, this is one awesome kit. Can't wait to get one and hopefully just the beginning of more from Reedees Miniatures. I would love to see a 2 figure vignette of Travis near the wall before he was killed or Bowie spinning tales with a few volunteers over a bottle and a cigar . Great stuff indeed! The research and the results are some of the best to come about in the form of a miniature.

All the Best, Terry Martin-Atlanta Miniature Figure Society

Congratulations Steve

Another quality bit of sculpting and lovely dynamic poses.

Well done mate

Dave

Very nice set.
With much respect from someone who had ancestors on three (3) sides during fight for Texas Independence; Texas side, Mexican side and the neutral side.

Alex Wence De Leon, 5th generation Texan.

Thank you everyone for your response to this kit, it took a while to complete but was a pleasure in the making.

Terry Martin, so glad you like it, the research was very important for this piece and thanks to Rick Brownlee for that aspect of the kit. As for another vignette of The Alamo there is every possibility as i plan more of these vignette kits for the future.

thanks

Steve

Great stuff Steve, in my humble opinion your best yet!

I have actually been to the Alamo site, it was great to see. What I remember is the display of nationalities who were on the US side, the non-US born defenders were mostly English but with a spread of men from all over Europe. I've got a photo of me stood outside (with hair!!! it must have been a long time ago!!)
