"Sculpted by Adriano Laruccia"...what more needs to be said!

I think this is an old La Meridiana figure and it still stands the test of time. As Paulo said, probably your best release yet and I hope it does well for you.

Hi Gary,
This is one of the many pieces that OlimpYa has acquired.
Originally it was from LA FORTEZZA and not from Meridiana;)
We are glad you like it(y)

YES you are right it was....I knew there was a 'La' in the title..!

Good luck with this little gem of a figure.
Gary

This is a superb figure and as Gary says, your best yet.

This is one of only two figures I have in my cabinet that were painted by someone else. About 10 years back I got a very talented UK painter who I'm a big fan of to paint it up for me, and I think that I'm now going to have to order it again to see how my version stands up against his, now that my own painting skills have improved during the intervening years.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your compliments.
We love it when modelers want to paint:love:

That's right Martin, all the La Fortezza figures are now owned by OlimpYa Models.
And we want to present them again to all modellers.(y)

For clarity's sake, you probably ought to mention in these posts about your new releases, just which figures are re-issues from molds you've acquired, and which figures are new sculpts that you have produced as OlimpYa Models. Many old-time painters probably know the origins of any given figure, but many others probably don't know.

Prost!

Hi Brad,
I cannot understand the reason for your request. These pieces are now out of production and OlimpYa Models has worked, with not a few economic efforts, to recover unobtainable and still current pieces, reprint them in metal with ecological alloys, changing paints and graphics packaging.
We alternate remake pieces with new and mail produced sculptures, such as Vlad, Teutonics, Landsknech Cannons and more.
We have never hidden that some pieces are remakes, in fact we always write a new release by OlimpYa Models.
Greetings,

Hi Vallo

All credit to you @ OlimpYa for acquiring the older ones and having them available , this one is nicely posed and painted as well

Sure it will be popular and hope we see more painted versions

Any sign of busts being acquired in the future ?

Thanks for sharing

Right, they're re-issues, and that's fine. I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm merely suggesting that you be clearer. In this case, in your original post, I would have included that this is a re-release of a figure originally released by La Fortezza. You could even pad that out by saying, "....which we are happy to make available to all of you once again."

So calm down.

Prost!

Hello Nap, thanks as always for your appreciated compliments.
For now we have not acquired old busts, but we are working on a 3D sculpted bust

Hi Brad,
I'm not upset, I just answered you.
In other manufacturers of fashion sketches, re-editions have come out and we have never seen remakes or anything else written, indeed they have been put out as new products.
Then we don't understand what the problem of a reissue is. There are model makers who are looking for pieces that cannot be found and will no longer be able to have them because the houses no longer exist or because they no longer want to produce.
We try to bring pieces to life that no one has any more or will be able to think of reproducing them in metal, unless they are Chinese resin recasts.
We try every day to prepare our productions in the best possible way for all model makers who want to buy both a piece that no longer exists, and a never-seen-before novelty.
We do all this by trying to put our hearts into it.
Cheers;)

I painted one of these several years back for a collector and been after another ever since but been unable to get one so will be making my purchase later today. Its a beautiful piece.
