Dang, Nice looking bust of an Old Guard Grenadier! Looking forward to seeing one of these in my collection in the near future.

Nice looking, not in my realm of interest but nice none the less. BTW, why is every Napoleonic figures depicted as looking about 50 years old or older? Again, not really me realm of interest, but I don't think I have seen a Napoleonic that didn't look like he was too long for the retirement home.

Part of the reason for this is that, at least when it comes to the old Guard, their hair was sometimes powdered. Moreover facial hair was prized and this contributes to the look of age. This isn't an answer for every thing but indeed some manufacturers do make younger looking figures notable drummer boys (Nuts Planet/Fer , Heroes &Villans, Mitches Military Models).

Cheers
