Hello Folks,

New from RB Productions is this 54mm figure of a Romanian pilot in 1944/45, wearing a German made sheepskin jacket over the uniform.

Cast in resin.

Sculpted by Mike Good

The set also includes an alternative head wearing a pilot helmet.

For once it took reading to realize a kit is by Mike Good. Something feels different... It's the way the face was handled probably... Without doubt is the charm of pleasant likeness, naturalistic posture and the beautifully economical expression of fabric.

Thanks guys!

The figure can be gotten directly from RB Productions website.

When Radu asked me to do this figure, it was hard for me to resist. He also provided me with some great reference material. For the record, the sheepskin jacket is NOT German made, but Romanian. It is made in many random pieces sewn together as shown in Radu's provided photos. However, the helmet and boots are German made items. I know because i did my homework - which was made easy by Radu Brinzan.

For those who are interested, Radu is also working on a resin model airplane kit to pose the figure next to. Anybody who has seen his fantastic model work will know that this kit will be something special to look forward to.....

Cheers!!

Mike

No sooner had a I made my last post, then castings arrived in the mail from Ireland. The castings are superb! Also, Radu has included a good instruction sheet with all pertinent information including colors and photos of the individual items. Awesome! (y) :D

If you buy the figure, the references are included. The sheet also says that the jackets were German made. My bad there.

Sorry.

Mike
