Best regards.Viktor .

Who said it was meant to be ukrainian? Its part of a series thats being done, before all of the recent events happened, just timing isn't the greatest is all. Still looks good to me

Which one is terrorist? I think it's not a good place to practice political propaganda regardless of he is Ukrainian, Georgian, Chechenian, Hungarian '56, Chech '68 or Finnish 39-40!

It seems obvious to me: the guy on top looks more like a terrorist. To me, this indicates that the term "terrorist" is only a convenient euphemism propelled by politics more than anything else. Anybody who is violent is, indeed, a terrorist - no matter what they may call themselves or others.....

Since the same kind of discussion is here for the second time in a week, i would like to post my opinion. I see some "double standards" here. Or, one weight, two measures, if you will

First, I point out that the political commentaries are here since the top of the thread. I agree that the "timing" of the release is not the best, that the crisis in Ukraine is far from a solution (and also far to the idea of "Russian bad guys" so spread here in our hemisphere). And, in my opinion, is not the kind of figures that I would have.

But, the main arguments are: It's obviously not indented to portray a "Ukrainian protester". There are a lot of scenarios where this vignette could be situated, like Beslan or the Caucasus. And, also, about the "bad taste", I did not saw too much revolt around here against this Airborne Miniatures release...

...or this MasterBox release...

...or against Warriors/Lincoln County releasing a figure resembling a well known Chechen leader, labeled as a "freedom fighter": http://www.ecomodelismo.com/freedom-fighter--chechnya-Ref-WARR-35398.html

And if the "freedom fighter" was a Iraqi fundamentalist? Or a Taliban? Or even Bin Laden? We would saw that kind of comment around here?

My point is: let's talk about the figure. If we talk about politics, ok, I'm favor to do that, and I usually do it via inbox, but no "moral high ground" here.;)

colleagues. I understand that the issue of Crimea fresh and relevant, but where you saw mention of the Ukraine?
We do have a third stage, during the last 2 years with an FSB officer and a terrorist, and no judgment has not yet been.

Just to warn others Viks video link is extreme and not safe for family or work.

Its pretty hardcore and not something you want to watch.

I once wrote that it is a very cruel video.I it photographed by the "freedom fighters."
Currently, 2 or 3 of these "fighters" (and I think the terrorists) life sitting in a Russian prison, several destroyed in the fighting, and mob boss hid in France, which does not extradite him to Russia.

Fantastic figures, this will be my seventh ANT fSB figures. What I like about this set is the realism of dealing with terrorist, that's the only way handle Islamist extremist who will strap bombs to civilians.

These ANT figures are so well sculpted and engineered, very little fit or flash and extremely accurate.

Keep up the good work Vic!

I will be ordering my set ASAP

My two cents:
The term terrorist gives a black and white picture and indicates who is the good and the bad guy. Therefore I do not care so much about the time these models are released but I would reconsider the title at least.
Another example that did not cause an uproar over here and had a smarter title

Modellingwise I wonder if this is the stuff I would like to see on display at a model show but this treatment (and worse) of POW`s happened and will not stop regardless of the theater of war or nations involved. And always there is somebody who is the terrorist:wtf: - and his opponent is always fighting for freedom:wtf: .

The model itself shows the usual nice quality expected from Ant-Miniatures.
Cheers, Martin
