Same here Tony. I was only looking through the stash the other day thinking I've got more than enough -ilifers and -ignifers and why do I need any more? But this one does look very nice.

So maybe just one more ....

Pose is very similar to Andrea's 90mm (Dacian Wars) Legionary but it's very nice indeed and the ideal scale of 75mm. I have one ordered already.

Mine arrived today and it lives up to expectations; indeed I would have been happy with this had it been in a Pegaso box - praise indeed! Excellent details and a very nice and positive dry fit of parts. The only 'downer' is that in my copy at least, the (integral cast) left hand/shield /standard had the standard pole almost doubled back on itself as though to fit in the box. This is not a huge problem for me I reckon as I will replace it with metal rod anyway. This could be an issue however for younger or more casual modelers / painters who won't want to go to these lengths and who may find it very hard to get the pole totally straight without breaking.

All in all, I am very pleased indeed with this figure and it should look great when painted and finished with some muddy forest or snow covered groundwork.

Looks as if there's good points and bad in this one. Good to see a reasonably substantial 'skin' for a change. Main criticism is that in the photos at least the sculpting of the mail looks very 'soft' at this scale. The wrapped legs below the knee look very thin.
Not going to rush for this one.

In the hand Del, it looks IMHO anatomically fine as does the mail irrespective of photos. Take a look at one at a show and decide for yourself mate.

Gary thats pretty much what I always do now, tend to purchase for the year at Euro. As to the legs its particularly the last photo, assuming the 'trousers' are tucked into the wrappings at least a few inches below the knee and the wrappings are a lot wider that the ribbon effect shown then the overlap would be much bulkier.....but then I often feel that skinny legs let otherwise good figures down.
Cheers
Derek
