I'm pleased to announce the latest figures from Tommy's War:

TW54003 - Bombadier, Royal Horse Artillery, Mons 1914

TW54004 - Captain, 4th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, Mons 1914

Both figures are sculpted by Nino Pizzichemi and box art is by Gunther Sternberg. I would like to thank both again for their outstanding work.

Figures are available at www.fireflymodels.co.uk and from a number of overseas retailers.

More images can be seen at www.tommyswar.com

Many thanks

Darren

Darren, congratulations to Nino and Gunther for the sculpting and painting, another two excellent additions to your range.

Cheers Ken

Both are outstanding pieces.

In regards to the Captain of the Royal Fusiliers figure; it's a nice change to see WW1 British soldiers sculpted in dramatic/action posess, other than the typical static poses of British soldiers standing/sitting while sipping on mugs of tea.

Thanks for the comments guys

Steve R - figures 5 and 6 will be available at Euro Militaire, hope to see you there!

Steve - glad you like the pose, I want to challenge the norm' by bringing in poses like this. I've been told by retailers that they won't sell as well, but I think artistically I want to stretch convention. If they sell in lower numbers then so be it. You will like figure 6, it is a sergeant of the Suffolks as they appeared at Le Cateau, he is trying to slip away from the German advance, you can see the fear in his face, its lovely - but it won't be everyone's cup of tea!

Hi Darren !!!!

Any picture in advance of No.5 & 6 ?????

You´ll get my pockets empty next months ...................ha ha ha !!!

Thanks. JM
